Kew Village Market has over 40 stalls and runs on the first Sunday of every month (except January). The market is actively promoted via this website, social media, e-mails, posters, articles and adverts in local media. The market attracts regular shoppers from the local area and tourists visiting Kew Gardens. The market is run by a volunteer Committee (organised as a Community Interest Corporation) and profits made by the Committee are distributed to local charities. Stalls (per market) cost £50 for residents of Richmond Borough and £60 for those outside (this includes the stall licence fee to Richmond Council).

Kew Village Market DATA SECURITY POLICY as applicable to Stallholders

Stallholders

Kew Village Community Market (KCVM) handles all personal data in accordance with the principles and requirements of current data protection legislation, including in particular the requirements introduced from 25 May 2018 by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). KCVM holds some personal data about its stallholders, both electronically and in paper-based systems.  Principally this is contact information, which we use to inform you about our activities and in arranging each market. In addition, in handling stallholders’ licensing applications to Richmond-upon-Thames Council on their behalf, we hold some information required by the Council. We do not hold any other sensitive personal data about stallholders.

We keep the information we hold securely and we never share it with third parties. The information is maintained and updated by KCVM volunteers, who are the Treasurer and Stalls Manager of KCVM members of its Committee.
