Once a month, on the first Sunday of every month except January, between 10am and 2pm.
Outside Kew Gardens Station, in both Station Parade and Royal Parade, TW9 3PZ.
Station Parade and Royal Parade are closed to traffic on market days from 8am to 3pm (except for residents requiring access to their property).
Parking in Station and Royal Parade will be suspended on the days of the market. Some parking is available in nearby streets but it’s best to come by public transport if possible.
The market is by the village side of Kew Gardens station (District Line tube and the Richmond to Stratford Overground). The 110 bus stops by Kew Village and 65 and R68 stop within 5 minutes walk of the market. Use the TFL website to plan your route with public transport.
There are usually almost 50 stalls, two-thirds selling food and one-third crafts plus KVM’s own stall and one for a local charity. If you know of any local food suppliers you think should be present at the market, please let us know through our contact form. If you would like your local charity to be represented at the market see our charity page.
The market is popular, but space do occasionally become available and we are always interested in new applications. Please use the application form here.
No. We have to obtain a traders licence for each stall from Richmond Council and this process can take 28 days.
A group of local volunteers – if you want to know more, see our committee list.
Yes please! The market takes a lot of organising but it’s great fun and you don’t have to commit to helping at every market. If you can spare a few hours once a month we’d love to hear from you. Please get in touch using our contact form.
